iZotope - RX 7 Standard

Audio Repair and Separation for Music and Post Production

Used on countless albums, movies, and TV shows to restore damaged, noisy audio to pristine condition, RX 7 is a complete toolkit for audio cleanup and restoration needs.

The industry standard in audio repair

RX 7 Standard introduces new features and workflows that allow you to easily edit, repair, and restore audio to pristine condition both in post and music production. Effortlessly fix clicks, pops, hum, noise with Repair Assistant, rebalance music or isolate vocals with Music Rebalance, and surgically fix dialogue intonation and musical performances with the new Variable Time & Pitch modules.

Rebalance audio with source separation

With RX 7, no mix is “final.” Using our source separation algorithm trained with machine learning, the new Music Rebalance module can intelligently identify vocals, bass, percussion, and other instruments and allows you to individually enhance or isolate elements of a song, making remastering without multitracks possible. Easily tweak your stereo mixdown without opening the session, fix old mixes you thought were unsalvageable, remix live performances, and even remove or isolate vocals!

Repair Assistant

Representing the latest advances in iZotope's assistive audio technology, Repair Assistant is a game-changing intelligent repair tool that can detect noise, clipping, clicks, and more. Solve common audio issues faster than ever, simply by selecting the type of material (music, dialogue, other) and letting RX 7 Advanced analyze the audio.

Repair Assistant then offers different processing suggestions to help give you the best result, as well as three different intensities (light, medium, or aggressive) for each. Review and audition different suggestions, hit render, and let Repair Assistant do the rest for you!

Breath Control

The Breath Control module intelligently detects breaths in dialogue or vocal recordings and suppresses them. Removing and reducing breaths in recordings can be a time-consuming process for dialogue editors and music producers alike. Breath Control can help reduce the time spent on repetitive editing without sacrificing the quality of your dialogue or vocal recordings.

Variable Time

Variable Time lets you adjust the time stretch amount of an audio selection without altering its pitch. For example, you can modify the tempo of a performance, such as a band or orchestra, that is slowing down or speeding up over time. Or if you need something to be longer or shorter for sync reasons, you can alter time.

And since this provides variability over time, you can accelerate or decelerate dialogue, music, and sound effects in a sound design capacity. The module features a zoomed-in display of your selection on the spectrogram, giving you a better indication of what audio you are adjusting.
