All Software Sales are Final

Digital Products

We deliver ALL software products through Electronic Delivery. A few minutes after your order is placed, you'll be emailed a license/activation code, a link for registration/download, as well as instructions.

Some vendors take longer to deliver codes (up to 24 hrs). If this is the case, this is noted at the top of the product page in bright red.

No Returns

Once a digital product such as Software is delivered to a customer, the customer now owns the software. Therefore, there are no cancellations, returns or refunds.

Installation DVDs

Our distributors no longer offer installation DVDs, therefore we can not ship them even if requested.

    Software Compatibility

    You are responsible for making sure a product is compatible with your specific system. Studio configurations are infinite, so be sure to check the System Requirements for the product(s) you're interested in and if possible, download a Demo version to make sure it works with your setup.

    Please be sure to ask all pre-sales questions before purchasing.

    Right to Cancel

    In order to protect against fraudulent orders and incorrect pricing, we reserve the right to cancel an order. You'll be emailed if this occurs.

     

    Hardware

    Return Policy

    We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you aren't satisfied with any new product you may return it for a refund of the purchase price within 15 days of purchase. If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund.
    • Merchandise may be returned within 15 days of receipt without a restocking charge, if the original manufacturer’s carton is unopened and undamaged.
    • If the package has been opened a minimum restocking charge of 15% will be charged.
    • Used or damaged merchandise, missing accessories, or packaging will increase the restocking fee.

    What if I receive a defective product?

    If you happen to receive a defective item we want to make sure the problem gets resolved quickly and fairly. If you've received a defective item, please contact us and we'll provide you a return authorization (RA) number.

    If we determine the product's defect is under warranty and within 15 days of purchase, we will pay the shipping costs within the U.S. to return the product to us and get a replacement out to you at no additional cost.

    15-day Used Gear Returns

    For items purchased that were marked as "used" that are defective, they may be returned within 15 days of purchase only if defective and haven't been abused or misused. Customer will be responsible for paying all shipping charges (to and from Sound Sandbox) on returned used items.

    How to Make a Return

    After contacting us and obtaining an RA number, please follow these steps to ensure your return is not rejected and adjustments are not made to your refund:

    • RA number must be affixed to the OUTER box and legible
    • Please write the RA number on the shipping label and NOT on the product box itself.
    • Item must be in its original condition and packaging
    • Please do not write on the original box
    • If you have redeemed a manufacturer rebate or promotion, your return will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
    • Items must be returned in the condition they were received, including all accessories, documentation, and packaging materials.
    • If your package was originally shipped double-boxed, please return the unit(s) double-boxed.
    • The product should be packed in the original product box with the UPC codes intact.
    • When repacking the product box, avoid using duct tape or other adhesives that can leave a residue.
    • Use a shipping method that is trackable, such as FedEx or UPS.
    • If your order was shipped for free the cost of outbound shipping will be deducted from your return credit.
    • We recommend that you insure your package when shipping back to us. Things can get damaged en route and we want you to be covered.

    Once we've received your return, we'll process it as quickly as possible, but it can take 2-3 business days for the credit to be applied by the issuer of the credit card.

    Non-Returnable Items

    There are NO refunds for the following items:

    • Software
    • Special orders
    • Oversize or overweight items
    • Discontinued products, closeouts, and used products
    • Speakers
    • Personal items (headphones)
    • Authorization keys
    • Turntable cartridges

    New merchandise carries the original warranty issued by the manufacturer. Used merchandise carries a 15-day warranty through Sound Sandbox, unless otherwise specified.
